Hi,
I have a question about the flash bank. I have one from ensoniq that when installed renders the use of the floppy drive un-usable.
My question is: is the behavior I described above normal once the flash bank is installed or is there a possible issue with the board or the sampler?
The board does work as I have installed the os on it and boots from it.
Thanks,
Arthur
To load from floppy or SCSI device you need to change storage device focus. There are two ways to do this:
Shortcut: Press and hold Load button followed by Instrument switches between current (Flash Bank) and last storage device (floppy or SCSI).
If you use 3 or more storage devices (Flash Bank, Floppy, and 1+ SCSI devices) you will need to change the Load device. To do this press
Command > System-MIDI > scroll to device (or press 5-Filter) >Enter
Happy storage device switch’ng
Hi Tom,
is the flashbank still available?
Thanks,
Anscorm
Yes I have the Flash Bank but won’t be able to ship until I’m back at work, sometime in June.
Hi, i’m interested in the Flash Bank. Do you still have one and do you ship to Belgium?
Many thanks!
David
The flash bank is available, the price is $159. I do ship to Belgium (and the rest of Europe..)
Hi, I’m just seeing this now, was curious if you still had any flashbanks available? Had my eye out on and off for years.
Thanks!
Hello,
I’m interested in having one EPS 16+ FlashBank, but I’m not shure to have completely understood how to install it, do you have any pictures of the board mounted inside the keyboard?
I understand that the FlashBank is compatible with other installed expansions as a RAM expansion and a SCSI interface, is it right?
Thanks in advance,
Albert
There is a video and original FB-1/FB-2 install guide linked on product page. Pictures included (video is explanatory).

Dave Fulton has provided an excellent FB-3 installation and operation walkthrough video.

Yes, SCSI, Memory Exp, and Flash Bank all work together at the same time. This was called “Turbo” version in 1992 (ref. Transoniq Hacker Feb 1992 p.24).
Hi Tom
